Duct tape fixes everything
by Satanus in'north carolina state representatives have introduced a bill that would "clarify" state law to specifically prohibit the baring of women's breasts.
women worried about showing too much of their "private area" should use pasties, or perhaps duct tape.'.

When You Were a Visitor at a KH, Did Anyone Come Up and Say Hi?

Most of the time yes.
Once about 3 years ago my mom came to visit from several states over. When we came in to the hall, some of my friends came up and said hi to me and my wife but not my mom. There were only 2 elder's wives that came up and actually looked at her and said anything, and the 2nd one did it as the announcement to take your seats was happening.
After the meeting my mom stood there for like 10 minutes then went to the car when no one came up to her and started to cry. She is an introvert and does not feel comfortable introducing herself. I did feel bad that I didn't take the initiative to introduce her to anyone but I had got caught up talking to my one friend. She was so upset because she is so used to being "love bombed." I was so pissed and started realizing how shitty this hall was. This is the same hall my wife still attends. They are very cliquish and rarely do anything outside of their circles. Its no wonder that we had and still have a high turn around of peopleā¦ie elders and MS.

I would glance at the board from time to time, and when I saw it was our turn to clean I would get the wife and say "We gotta go, I'm tired."

Once again, WTS reminds you that you are a *bleeping* idiot
by LostGeneration ingems from the latest km on how to behave at the 2013 dcs..... .
if possible, care for restroom needs before the start of the session.
turn off your cell phone so that you will not be distracted by calls or texts or be tempted to text others during the program.

here are instructions on how to use your credit card to make your donations
Wow. I asked my wife about this as she went to the newly opened Assembly hall in Aurora Colorado. She said "yep, they are next to the contribution box."
I have only heard people on this site talk about this. So I didn't know if it was fully implemented everywhere yet. I left at about the time they started rolling these gems out...(shaking head angrily)
I asked my wife if she has donated money since I left. She said "I never donated money even before you left." Come to think of it, I was the only one who would put like 5 bucks in once or twice a year. I always thought she did, but as she reminded me, she would ask me "Do you want to put anything in the box?" I always said "Sure" because as the head I thought it was my "responsibility."

Welcome! Count your self lucky that you got out at an early age. I am 29 and have been out since I was 27. I am now fully Atheist. My wife is also working on making her exit.
I was baptized at 13....wayyyy tooo young. But I never did "reach out" for anything more than mics and sound box and magazine counter. If I may make a recommendation, don't reach out anymore and take time on your fade if you want to keep in touch with those you love.
Good luck.

When I was an employee, the weekends were for rest and relaxation and catching up with the kids. I almost never had to work Saturday and never Sunday.
Recently I started my own business and have been working the weekends. Mostly Saturdays but some Sundays. I will have tomorrow off then starting Monday I will have to work at least 11 days in a row with no days off. We are starting a contract that requires my full attention. I am really excited to have my new company doing well, but will miss my regular days off. Soon as we acquire more employees and supervisors, my business partner and I will be able to take our needed rest.
My focus, when I was IN, was working paycheck to paycheck. Now with a whole new lease on life and knowing THE END is NOT NEAR, my focus is on providing a better life for my wife, kids and myself. Money may not buy happiness but it sure makes life a HELL OF A LOT BETTER.

hell fire
by carla inwhat is with jw's and the use of the term 'hell fire'?
i know of no other people who use this term, even those who do not believe in hell.
try having a discussion with a jw on the concept (or lack thereof) of hell and they cannot bring themselves to refer to it as simply 'hell', why must it be 'hell fire'?.
